stop the hating

Society views pitbulls as a “dangerous” or “aggressive” breed because of the media, when in actuality, all dogs can be dangerous or aggressive if they are taught to be. I have met plenty of pitbulls in my day, and they are some of the sweetest dogs on earth. Don’t let the media tell you what to think.

Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there

Main point- Plastic particles in the oceans from plastic bottles, bags, and other polutants are killing aquatic life and therefore diminishing aquatic diversity. The shit we humans do to the planet is horrible.

A few EASY steps WE can do to lower our ecological footprint:

1. At the grocery store, buy things with the LEAST PACKAGING as possible! Items with the least packaging are not only the healthiest for you, but also leaves you with the least to throw away.

2. Be conscious of your waste: Every time you throw something in the trash, realize that you aren’t “throwing it away”- it has to go SOMEWHERE. Either into our oceans, into our land, or onto impoverished people’s communities.

3. Use a reusable water bottle! There is no point to buying bottled water for 100x the price of water. Even if you recycle, that uses a lot of energy and puts more emissions into the air than necessary. Did you know that tap water is more regulated and has more standards than bottled water?

This Conscious Alliance reusable water bottle is only $10 (less than you will spend on a weeks worth of bottled water) and ALL of the proceeds goes to feeding the hungryhttps://www.consciousalliance.org/shop/shop-details/?gid=9012

Can you believe Coca Cola has this “save the polar bears” campaign? They are one of the leading companies putting plastic in the oceans which is a factor of global warming, and now they want to help the polar bears? That’s advertising for ya.

Please reblog if you care about our earth!
